Ride All Day On Transit For Just $10 To The "Women's March" in Downtown Los Angeles





If you are planning on driving into downtown Los Angeles for the Women's March -- Saturday January 19th -- why not instead ride Metrolink for just $10 ALL DAY.  Yes, you read the price correctly, with a weekend pass, you may ride all Metrolink trains for just $10 all day long.  This includes all Metro Buses and Metro Light Rail (along with other participating agencies -- click here to find out more about the Weekend Day Pass offered every weekend by Metrolink).  Skip the traffic and rid Metrolink to and from the Women's March this Saturday.

Trains going into Los Angeles Union Station




Here are the schedules for special trains accommodating the extra ridership to the Women's March on January 19th below by service line:


Note: click on any of the numbered service lines (e.g. (1) Ventura County Line) and you will be directed to the corresponding Metrolink web page for the service line.  Additional trains might be running at different times in the day on various service linesClick on each line to be directed toward Metrolink Train web page for the service line hyperlinked. 




(1) Ventura County Line:


The train listed below leaves Moorpark at 7:30 a.m. (Saturday January 19th) and arrives in Los Angeles Union Station at 8:45 a.m. (Saturday January 19th) as shown below:





Note: This line does not normally operate on the Weekend.  If you would like to see weekend service on this line, please write the Metrolink Board of Directors or email at: : holmank@scrra.net

Events like these show that weekend service is possible.  Although, we need to show demand by the public.  Your voice counts tremendously!





(2) Antelope Valley Line:


There are 3 trains leaving Lancaster on Saturday January 19th for the Women's March at: 6:00 a.m., 6:22 a.m. and 6:32 a.m. which will arrive in Los Angeles Union Station on Saturday January 19th at 8:00 a.m., 8:25 a.m. and 8:35 a.m. respectively as shown below:









(3) San Bernardino Line:


The trains listed below depart San Bernardino (downtown) on Saturday January 19th starting at: 6:20 a.m., 6:55 a.m., and 7:05 a.m. headed to downtown Los Angeles arriving at Union Station at: 7:55 a.m., 8:35 a.m., and 8:45 a.m. respectively as shown below:










(4) 91 / Perris Valley Line:



The train listed below originates (leaves) downtown Riverside at 7:50 a.m. on Saturday January 19th and arrives at Los Angeles Union Station at 9:30 a.m. as shown below:









Remember to arrive at the train early for boarding and purchase of tickets.  What about getting back home?  What times do the return trains run?  The times are shown below.




Trains leaving Los Angeles Union Station Returning Home





The following are the same service lines listed above, except with train departure times returning visitors from Los Angeles Union Station back home.  Here are the service times leaving L.A. Union Station:



(1) Ventura County Line:



Train 143X will leave Los Angeles Union Station at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Moorpark at 3:45 p.m.  as shown below.  Note: Please arrive at the train platform early at L.A. Union Station.







(2) Antelope Valley Line:



There are 6 trains listed below leaving Los Angeles Union Station starting at 1:35 p.m. Saturday January 19th and arriving at Lancaster at 3:45 p.m. as shown below. Last train leave L.A. Union Station at 8:53 p.m. and arrives in Lancaster at 11:00 p.m. at night as shown below:








(3) San Bernardino Line:



There are 6 trains leaving Los Angeles Union Station returning Metrolink riders to San Bernardino on Saturday January 19th starting at 1:00 p.m. and arriving in Downtown San Bernardino at 2:40 p.m. as shown below.  Note: Last train leaves L.A. Union Station at 7:10 pm and arrives in San Bernardino at 8:59 p.m.









(4) 91 / Perris Valley Line:



There are 2 trains returning to downtown Riverside on Saturday January 19th starting at 3:15 p.m. and arriving in downtown Riverside at 4:52 p.m. as shown below:
